Leadership

The Envision Williamston organization is led by a 13-member Board of Directors. The Board is augmented by its two standing committees:

1) Economic Development and Placemaking

2) Community Engagement and Marketing

The Committee members serve to plan and implement the wide array of projects that support economic development and community revitalization in the town of Williamston.

In addition, specialized task forces are often formed to support the design and development of specific initiatives, such as the Facade Improvement Steering Committee, the Main Street Challenge Selection Committee, the New Business Recruitment Task Force, and the Mural Task Force.

Community members may also serve for a day. Examples include volunteering at the Hands on Williamston Day, Y’All (HOWDY) a town-wide cleanup day, the Spring Water Festival, or at other special events.
