Pedestrian & Bike Plan
The Town of Williamston Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan envisions a connected network of on- and off-street bikeways, walkways, and trails that provide safe and family-friendly access between neighborhoods and community destinations for all ages and abilities.
When implemented, the recommendations described in the Plan will compliment, connect and enhance the existing assets of the community such as Mineral Spring Park, the Mineral Spring Greenway, Main Street Williamston, and the Anderson District 1 School Campuses, among others.
The recommendations could also better connect Williamston with neighboring communities such as Pelzer and West Pelzer.
When realized, this Plan will enhance the economic vitality, cultural assets, and overall health and well-being of Williamston and its residents.
